These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sleuth (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Sleuth monitors medical research sources and uses AI to surface potentially relevant updates and cure alerts for the conditions you choose to track. The Service provides informational content only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and verify your email address to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Subscriptions and Payment
- Access to the Service requires a paid subscription billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor.
- The current price is shown at signup and may change with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access, scrape, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service or its underlying systems.
- Share your account, or resell or redistribute the Service or its content without our permission.
- Rely on the Service as a source of medical advice or as a substitute for professional care.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that research results are complete, accurate, current, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleuth and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
